Edith Children Foundation helps vulnerable and underprivileged children and young people in Cameroon move from hardship toward dignity, education, health, opportunity and self-sufficiency.

ECF is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit primarily supporting vulnerable children and young people in Cameroon. We respond to urgent needs such as food, healthcare, sanitary products and educational support, while helping young people build sustainable futures through vocational training, employment pathways and opportunities for self-sufficiency.
What We Do
Eight program areas, one purpose
From a hot meal to a trade skill, every program moves a child or young person one step along the same path.
Food & Basic Needs
Providing food and essential supplies to children and families experiencing hardship.
Education Support
Helping children remain in school through educational materials, school-related expenses and other learning support.
Healthcare Support
Assisting vulnerable children who need medical care, including support toward necessary treatments and medical procedures.
Girls' Health & Dignity
Providing sanitary pads and menstrual hygiene supplies so girls can manage their periods safely and with dignity and avoid unnecessary disruption to their education.
Orphan & Vulnerable Child Support
Supporting children living in orphanages and other vulnerable circumstances with essential resources and opportunities.
Street Child Intervention
Helping street-connected children and young people move toward safer living conditions, support systems and sustainable opportunities.
Skills & Livelihood Development
Providing vocational, artisanal and practical skills training to young people of working age so they can earn an income and become more self-sufficient.
Economic Empowerment
Supporting pathways to employment, entrepreneurship and other income-generating opportunities for vulnerable young adults.
